Jack Links Inc: “Grab the Taste for Adventure”

Situation: Carb-cutting diet trends presented new opportunities for increased sales of Jack Link’s beef snacks. Link Snacks Inc. needed a new method to reach the non-traditional beef jerky eater and the online promotion called “Grab the Taste for Adventure” helped to achieve that exact objective.

How it worked:

  • Participants visited the contest URL and registered by entering a UPC code from participating Jack Link’s product packages.
  • Participants clicked three of nine icons displayed on the game area. If all three selections revealed a matching prize, they were eligible to win.
  • The total value of prizes available to be won was $799,993 including a Grand Prize of $100,000 cash and Jack Link’s meat snacks.
  • With each game play participants received one entry into Sweepstakes draw for the chance to win a trip for four to Crocodile Bay Lodge, Costa Rica.
